The End of LinkEdu
Exactly one year ago, I started a project. A project born from watching my mom grade assignments, using my school's outdated platform, and wanting to prove that I could build something that didn't look like it was made by someone my age.
Over the past 12 months, I built a platform that gradually evolved into an ecosystem with multiple modules. Along the way, I learned about infrastructure, artificial intelligence, software architecture, and, above all, business.
Today, August 6, I've decided to shut down LinkEdu.
Not because it was a bad product, but because keeping it alive requires time and money that I can invest in projects with greater potential. Sometimes, the best way to keep building is knowing when it's time to close a chapter.
I loved building LinkEdu. There were days when I'd wake up, sit down to code, and keep going until it was time to sleep. Most days, I only left my room to eat.
There were also days when I'd end up with a headache, trying to figure out how every role should connect, what permissions each one needed, and how to make the whole system work together. At the time, those days felt exhausting. Looking back now, I realize they were also some of the most meaningful ones.
LinkEdu is coming to an end, but everything I learned over the past year will become the foundation for the next great project.
